How I'm Feeling
Still feeling great! Because I've been feeling well, I've been very active. I even surprised myself when I went on a 5 mile hike with my husband and his family while we were on vacation in Colorado.
Weight Gain/Measurements
I've gained 12 or 13 lbs since the start of pregnancy, and the vast majority of the weight is in the mid-section area. I found out that my center of gravity has definitely changed by experiencing a rather klutzy moment at the pool. Let's just say I fell over for no good reason except that I forgot how much weight I am carrying in my midsection and leave it at that...
Food Cravings
Cheese, please. Preferably the melted kind.
Other Symptoms
I don't have anything to complain about this month!
Best Moment of the Month
My awesome friend hosted a baby shower for me when we were visiting in Colorado. It was a so much fun to celebrate with my family and my friends that still live in my hometown together. Of course, there was girl talk, party food, and presents. Did I miss something? Nope, there were no awkward shower games! Instead, the hostess had us decorate onesies. For a crafty bunch like us, this was super exciting, and I think we were all relieved to skip over the awkward games. I wait to show off our little one in these adorable outfits.
Looking Forward To...
I'm looking forward to being in the third trimester. Crazy, right? I know that I'll probably start feeling tired and absolutely humungous, but I feel so blessed to have made it this far without complications. Also, being in the third trimester of pregnancy is a reminder that we'll get to meet our little guy soon!
